Winner of the Betty Crocker Home- maker of Tomorrow title from David City was lanice Forney. She was awarded this honor because she re- received the highest score in the test that was taken by a number of senior girls. Her paper will also be con- sidered for state honors. Ianice received a Betty Crocker Homemaker of Tommorrow pin for her achievements. the DAR winner and future homemaker, . I Representing David City High School in the Good Citizenship Contest this year was Marilyn Hoeft. Marilyn was chosen by the David City Chapter of the Daughters of the American Rev- olution on the basis of her qualities of leadership and her service to her school and community. Tnithfulness. honesty. loyalty, punc- tuality, and patriotism were considered also.

Mary was cho- sen by the American Legion Auxiliary on the basis of achievement in schol- arship, personality, poise, leadership abilities, character, and participation in activities. Mary has been active in pep club. student council, band, and choir throughout her high school career. our Girls Stater and Regents Scholar, . . Carol Barlean received the Regents Scholarship from the University oi Ne- braska, which is worth 5100. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of the score received in the exams which were taken by the top quarter of the senior class. Marilyn Hoeft and Ianice Schlaut- man received altemate awards and may use any scholarship refused by a winner.

Ianet has been active in physical educa- tion. ioumalism. band. and pep club during her high school career. She was a rnaiorette with the marching band during her senior year, and she served as class president during her iunior year.
