The senior girls trio practices for one of their many performances this year The members are from left to right Charlene Porter Ianet Nixon cmd Mary Schroeder They are accompanied by Carol Barlean the performances of the small groups . . . The activities of the mixed choir and girls' glee were many and varied. The choir held two public concerts, the first at Christmas in conjunction with the annual grade school pro- gram, and the second in the spring prior to the music contest at Wahoo. ond the concerts of the mixed choir, . . . Many small vocal groups were active dur- ing the school year, Most prominent of these was the madrigal, which participated in the Albion vocal music clinic, and sang at open house, the Christmas program, and the district music contest at Wahoo, Also active was the senior girls' trio, which made several public appearances and attended the Albion clinic. The girls' triple trio sang at the annual spring honors convocation, Other small groups which worked through- out the year were the freshman girls' triple trio, two girls' sextets, and a junior mixed A random group of the girls' glee practices on one of the numbers they are preparing for contest. The girls' glee gave two concerts this year also. ' Choir accompanist, Mary Haight, U , , practices on one of the more difficult 'fa , pieces.
