wr H2 Dave Wilson a physics student completes an experiment with fire This is one of the many experiments that are made in this class X Wayne Soukup records the results of an experiment that he has lust made in connection with his extension course in physics Charles Sandy and Marilyn Wynegar two freshman general science students study the aquarium in Miss Swansons room -.gp together with an under- standing of. . . In this age of satellites that soar through space at unbelievable speeds, it is of great importance that everyone have some know- ledge of science. To teach all students in her classes the fundamentals of this very impor- tant subject is the goal of Miss Catherine Swanson, science instructor. The science classes taught at David City this year are general science, biology, and physics. Physics and chemistry are taught on alternate years in order to give the students an opportunity to take both Dead Ernest a plastic model that has all ol the parts ct a human body is the obiect of much discuss on by Gene Kopecky and Miss Catherine Swanson
