The library now has 2,250 books. Three hundred and seventy-live of them have been added this year. The library is expanding and new shelves have been added to accom- modate the new books. Girls who donate their time to Work in the library are Martha Stara, Mary Kozisek, Mary Lou Polacek, Elva Davidson, Arlene Voboril, Pauline Birkel, Rosalie Zegers, Carole Sabata, Mary Ann Rerucha, Marcie Urbanovsky, Lib- bie Palik, Mary Ann Marushak, Connie Vot- ava, Maxine Klein and the girls in the fresh- man English class. The girls in the freshman English class are taking a course in library work so they can be of greater assistance in their following years of school. The librarians have different duties. Some of them check out books, some keep the shelves' in order, and others put the books away. The head librarian is La Donna Voboril and her assistant is lean Iuranek. Their duty is to number and check in every book and maga- zine before it is put in the library.
