N-Q Vocational Agnculture X Don Mahlxn cmd LeRoy Svoboda paint a wagon box in R O Gmgery welds with the acetylene torch as vocational agriculture shop Bob Fadschild Ed Duren and Bob Doner look on FUTURE FARMERS One of the largest classes at David C1ty High School the vocat1onal agnculture de partment 1S drawing the attention of many students Fllong Wllh vocat1onal agriculture classes the students have an organization the Future Farmers of I-lmerica The F F I-l is self support ing and run by the members in the chapter In the Chapter there are 61 members now enrolled Tne FFH had the concession rights at football games The group also made and sold hog troughs They also sold greet1ng cards to rarse funds for the organization as a money rcusing pro1ect With the money the orgamzation made they took a trip last summer through western Nebraska Colorado and Wyoming Miles Andel and his grand champion senior boar at the 1949 Butler County Fair.
