Mr. H. C. Ebmeier, Iohn Tomek, Mr. Ellis Mercer and Connie Votova, pose before the drivers training car and all the students who have taken driver's training this year. STATION YOU FIX THEM-WE WRECK THEM Over ninety students, who would have reached their sixteenth birthday by November l, l95U, enrolled in this course. The behind-the-wheel training was taken in a new Chevrolet loaned by D. D. Davis, one ot the city automobile dealers. The students in this televised safety pro- gram were also required to read two books, Page 30 l'The Nebraska Drivers Manual and Man and the Motor Car. Ht the end of the training period each stu- dent was given a driver's test and examination covering the two books. Htter the student proved eligible, a mem- ber ot the State Safety Patrol gave him the state examination in order to receive his li- cense. 5 .
