eeping C912 Even on the busiest days the girls seem to have time for a little exercise. They manage to get this through a good Well-equipped girls' physical ed- ucation program. Mrs. Ryan was in- structor ol all girls in the seventh through twelfth grades who desired to take physical education as an activity, The purpose of physical education is to help use up surplus energy and to maintain good body health and strength. Some of the games they played were softball, basketball, volley ball, badminton, deck tennis, and ping pong. The girls held a basketball tour- nament in which the junior team Was Winner. They all participated in the interclass track and field meet. Tum- bling was also a major part of their curriculum, as was exhibited to the public at a basketball game.
