Having scalped Sewards freshmen as a final blow, our own freshmen team returned to its own reservation undefeated. The team is to be congratulated for the fine Work. We are certain that when the players get on the reserves and varsity they can maintain their record. Tootie Muntz was elected Honorary Captain at the football banquet-a well deserved title to an outstanding football player and all-around fine fel- low. With Chief Hair-Standing-on-End Ryan driving them on- ward, the first outstanding skirmish became the scalping of Columbus's Class Fl team, but when our braves surrounded and massacred Schuyler's wagon train, the whole tribe tossed its weapons into the air, and leaped into a war-dance of joy, for they had beaten our all-time rivals!! The younger braves freservesl attacked the wagon trains with a strong force and won ten out of thirteen skirmishes. This Was fine work fellows, keep it up for the future. Speaking of teams for future reference, we have the Papooses ffreshmen bravest who saved the hunting-grounds by corn- ing out undefeated! The trophy they won was presented to Mr. Ebrneier in an assembly program March 3l. High-Marksrnen for the year were Burdick and l-lain, both with lU3 points.
