This is a story of sixty-one of the most courageous and daring young adventurers of today. Yes, these sixty-one make up the graduating class of 1949. Four years ago, these young people set out on a journey, a long, hard journey, one which they hoped would some day lead them to the land of unlimited treasure. In that first year they were guided over steep cliffs and through rugged can- yons by their class sponsors, Miss loan Hoffman and Mr. Vauck, with the help of Norman Muntz, president, lack Nichols, vice-president, Peggy Bechius, secretary, lean Martin, treas- urer. Iohn Schlentz was student council representative. The class readily adapted itself to school activities and was soon on its way to success. Morris Clemmer, Donald Danaher, Evelyn From, Eugene Glock, Fllgene Grubaugh, Darrell Curtis, Henry DeFord, Donald Glock, Ianet Glock, Beryldene Hasik. X6 5 'Q .Q 'Pb- -1' gr-. My Q' 11- 'i

The second year was every bit as thrilling as the first. Everyone took an active part in music, athletics, speech, and other activities. The boys began vocational agriculture for the first year. The girls continued their hornemaking, thus making better campfire meals on the long, hard journey to that new horizon beyond. This year Mr. McRlexander and Miss Swanson were class sponsors. Don Lawson, president, Morris Clemmer, vice-president, Monica Beringer, secretary, Kathryn Baker, treasurer, and Ianet Glock, student council representative, helped to make the going a little easier. Don Heins, Rdeline Hotovy, Dolores Kil- gore, Rrlene Klingemann, Nadine Krac- man, Mary Lu Homolka, Roman Humlicek, Eva Kilgore, Marcella Kovar, Clarence Krenk.
