She is visiting here from Sano Paulo, Brazil for a year and is sponsored by the Rotary Club. The purpose of the exchange program is to give young people a chance to study in foreign countries and to broaden their knowledge of the people of other nations. Miraci was readily accepted and made welcome by the community, as well as by the faculty and stu- dents , and was an active participant in many school functions. Throughout the year Miraci has been staying with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Webber, the Reverend and Mrs. Larry Deitch, Mr. and Mrs. Wilber Whan, and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Leggett. She will return to her home in Brazil in January of 1975. Miraci was an attendant for the 1974 Basketball Home- coming . 119 120 ■'pr'y Sr fr!
