Under Mrs. Smith ' s direction, these spirited songsters presented a variety show last fall, featur- ing several different styles of music and songs. Later on during the year they sang at school convocations and at the New Market Music Festival in March. The tal- ent put forth by the choir has certainly been a much-enjoyed asset in our school. Homecoming of 1968 This year the Homecoming, which was planned by the Stud ent Council brought with it a flurry of activities. Finally at the East Tipp ballgame on January 27, came the results of this work. First, past letter- men and cheerleaders were recognized. Later- -at halftime--Mary Cohee, a senior, was crowned queen. To round out the eve- ning, a dance was held with music by the Crawfordsville Dance Band. In all, it seems the 1968 Homecoming was a great success.

Secretary: Donna Weliever The girls of the Darlington Sunshine Society have truly done much to spread sunshine in the school and community, cheering the days for the teachers, parents, shut-ins, and other students. Some out- standing events for the SSS this year were the Christmas Ball-- " The Night Before Christmas, " Daddy Date Night, the Mother ' s Tea, and the closing May Breakfast. Honor Society OFFICERS President: Ronnie Schoen V-President: Kent Butler Sec.-Treas.: Diana Branstetter Reporter: Paul Runnels Qualities needed to enter this organization are scholarsliip, leader- ship, character, and service. To fulfill service to the school, Honor Society members sell tickets at Junior High ballgames and plan the annual Awards Night.
