When we first entered the school building in 1942 upstairs looked far away, and it seemed a long time before we could climb those stairs and really be in High School. We began our Freshman year as queer looking specimens of humanity-I am sure everyone remem- bers that initiation day. During the course of the year we gave two class parties and a chicken supper and square dance. A short time after school was out we spent a day at McCormicks Creek State Park which ended with Quo Vadis at Crawfordsville, This year, as Sophomores, we have received our sweaters of which we are very proud. 1 TOM CAIN: President MARILYN VALENTINE: Vice President NANCY TIMMONS: Secretary-Treasurer ew Cy 55 ROW Terry ROW l David Goldsby Nancy Timmons Tom Surface Marilyn Valentine Janice Conner Holt 3 Gene Tribbett Daryl Nicoson Robert White Torn Cain ROW Mrs. Surface, gponsor, Marilyn lBrown, Betty lAnderson, Ronald 'Clouser, Harold Robinson,

In the autumn of 1943, twenty-one boys and girls enrolled in the first grade. In the fall of 1952, we find the freshman class made up of eighteen students. Those who started school together, and are still in the original class are Carolee Dickson, Pat Booher, Robert Branstetter, Kay Cox, Cletis Booher, Jimmy Weliever, and Dick Dale. We were initiated into high school September 22, 1952. We look forward to many pleasant occasions between now and the time we hope to graduate in 1956. 61444456 STANLEY BOOHER: President MARVIN ABSTON: Vice President CAROLEE DICKSON: Secretary-Treasurer I X if' ROW 1 Dale Cox Patricia Booher Bob Branstetter Barbara Stockton Jack Hawn Jimmy Weliever ROW 3 Virginia Pittenger Franklin Holt Marvin Abston Jon Peebles Kay Cox X . l l ROW Mr. Gibbs, Sponsor, Carole Royer, Carolee' Dickson, Larry Cain, Stanley' Booher, Elizabeth Wilson, Cletls Booher
