SENIOR CLASS HISTORY
QContinued from page 243
Peggy Ridgeway reigned as Junior Attendant for the football Queen. Sue
Mills and Mariam Payne were chosen as Varsity cheerleaders.
The juniors sponsored several dances to raise money for the Junior-Senior
Banquet. We also gave our class play entitled, "Ah Men."
Diana Cornell marched as a Majorette in the band, and Raymond Bell, Jim
Hashman and Joyce Mizer played instruments.
The new members who joined our class were Carroll Shultz and Linda Scott
who were former class mates. Also Dick Gardner joined us later in the year
after being absent due to a long illness. The Junior class went together and
bought Dick's class ring. Dick would like to express his thanks to each and
every one who made it possible for him to receive it.
As we the Seniors look back on our starting days of high school we give
thanks to all the teachers and Mr. Parker and Mr. Senft who have made it possible
for us to receive a diploma that surely we can be proud of.

Dick Butts and Merl Hall have been farming together on their farm and are
doing a great job.
The Cleveland Browns have a very good team this year with Jim Loney as one
of their tackles.
Dick Gardner is a basketball coach at Howard High School.
Larry Grassbaugh is basketball coach at Shreve. By the way, these teams
oppose each other next week, and the game is certain to be close.
Miss Helen Fesler is making a study in economy. Time saving is her
specialty. When she finds the answer she will pass it on to all high school students.
George Gullet, George Myer, and Charles Everhart are still roaming around.
Maybe someday they will get settled.
Miss Rosalie Schaub is studying nursing so she can go to the Navy to keep
and eye on you know who.
