In opening the 1955-56 school year the Junior Class had an enrollment of
thirty-seven members under the supervision of Mr. Wm. Galler. Janice Akins,
a former classmate, rejoined us, and Barbara Williams came to us from Mount
Vernon. Inez Jarvis moved.
We had a good turnout for football this year. The following boys were on
the team: Glen Turney, Larry Cline, Larry Riley, Charles Bywaters, John Durbin,
Bob Durbin, Ronald Shackle, Carl Workman, Paul Cagwin, Paul Sapp, and juris
Those taking part in basketball were: juris Klavins, Don Lifer, Glen Turney,
Larry Cline, Carl Workman, Charles Bywaters, john Durbin, Bob Durbin and
Manager Gary Armstrong.
Those in the band are: Delores Durbin, Betty Loney, Patty White, Gary
Armstrong, Marcella Yearous, Don Lifer, Mary Schaub, and Joanne Smith.

On September 5, 1955, 32 boys and 16 girls entered the freshmen class under
the guidance of Mr. O'Brien.

There are eight members on the Honor Society and twelve. in the band.
The Reserve cheerleaders are Carol Crow and Sarah Bell.
The boys participating in football were: Stanton Barnes, Bob Miller, Merle
Huffman, Paul Boling, Lanty Jarvis, Leland Zollars, john Wolfe, Gary Hughes,
Gary Durbin and Roger Baker.
The boys participating in Reserve basketball were: Stanton Barnes, Bob Miller.
Gary Durbin, Glen Burgett, Paul Boling, Roger Baker, Leo Mickley and Lonnie
As attendant to the queen we chose Sarah Bell.
