ENTERTAINMENT FORTY YEARS OF TEACHING THIS SECTION IS DEDICATED TO MR. MARTIN FDR HIS FORTY YEA RS OF TEACHING. Mr. Martin is now completing forty years of service. Sixteen of these years have been at Webster Junior High School. Due to his dedication and outstanding educational program, Mr. Martin will leave a lasting im pression among his students. Mr. Martin was born in Kansas and raised in Los Angeles. He received his schooling at University High School and received his bachelor's degree at the University of California at Los Angeles. He completed his education at the University of Southern California by earning his master's degree. Mr. Martin started playing musical instruments as a young boy. He first tried the violin, then went to the viola, clarinet, and then the saxaphone. He knows how to play all the major instruments but the viola, sax and clarinet are his favorite. Some of his most memorable experiences have been directing the band and orchestra shows. He enjoys teaching music very much and plans to organize a music studio of his own.
