ORATORICAL SPLASHES “Canada is crossed by two railways. The first of these, the C.P.R., was built by Donald Smith. On account of the strength that this task required, he was known as the “Strathcona Horse.” The second, the G.T.P., was completed in 1837, Prince Rupert driving the last spike.” The tales of western explorers are most fascinating.
