Coached by Sharon DeRosseau and Chris Krueger, and led by Head Songleader, Maria Magistro, the Songsters prac- ticed for hours each week in order so that they could perform their routines flawlessly. Their talent became evident during the summer when they were awarded third place in competition at the U.S.A. Spirit Camp held at UCLA. The Songleaders deserve special thanks for their successful effort to promote spirit at games and rallies. A special thanks goes also to yell leaders Rich Lopez and John Wilson and to Spartan mascot, Maggie Whitehair for their support in assisting the Pep Squad. Jackie Corchoran Belinda Castillo
