For Eileen Beall, my owner, this is the first year in high school. She and Nancy Windham are the seventh grade representatives in the Stu- dent Council. They are two of the many in this grade who have been of help to the school this year and will be of assistance in the future. glitz - Qfdazfafuf Here is where I can learn about my ancestors. Mr. Simpson and his world history class are studying ancient communication. Marilyn just reported on the stylus which was the Writing implement used in Egypt. Audrienne told about the cuneiform writing of Mesopotamia. In U. S. history class the juniors studied the Declaration of Independence which was written with a quill pen, another of my ancestors. Two years of social studies and one of U. S. History are required to graduate from D. H. S. I've been through them all, and next year I'l1 be pushed through Psychology. ,. The three stages of creating a Silas Marner booklet: l. Read the book: 2. Look for new ways to make the booklet original: fl. Use creative ability to compile your information. Eddie Kirkham explains the bulletin hoard display of his world history class. W'hat's my purpose? To write with of course! And where is the writing course? Room 215- Ruglish. And that's where Shakespeare comes to lile, and Friends, Romans, and countrymen congregate to learn grannuer, study spelling, and appreciate literature. I just love taking G. K. notes and making Frietag's Outline. The seniors studied Shakespeare and other English Literature. The juniors had .Xmeriran Literature and really enjoyed studying and sing. ing some of the old .Xmeriran ballads. The sophomores. as you see in the picture, worked with Silas Marner and other literature.
