This had to be on time and done well. This staff worked hard, efficient- ly, and untiringly during the past year. News SCHOOL PATROL Captain Ruth Brown Lieutenant Mary Waters Secretary Virginia Green Advlsor Mr Hugh Tresselt The school patrol nas been functioning in D H S since September The patrolmen were in charge of fire drills and had the responsi bility of seeing school children safely across the street Orderly and quiet conduct in the halls was another one of th r jobs. The Mont omery County Police acted as hosts to the patrol members and gave them tours through the Court House and jail this year The patrolmen also enjoyed a trip to Glen Echo, a parade in Washington, and a ball game.
