nb FIRST ROW ileft to righti Jane Von Arx, Virginia Ferry, Lester McCarty, Paul Clemow, Victor McCarty, Peter Roushey, Graydon layer, Robert Moore, Betty Jones, Helen Kocher, Barbara Phillips, Betty Welsh, James Waters, Kenneth Cosgrove, Nancy Hislop SECOND ROW Jack Quaill, Edward Tutak, Harold Bogart, Jack Drake, James Huston, Jack Nelson, John Hauck, Paul Shaver, Margery Wood, Mary Jane Hislop, David Joseph, Eugene McCarty, Richard Oliver, Mr Griffith THIRD ROW Elmer Hunt, William Nelson, Stephen Pavlick, Estelle Ide, Patricia Ferry, James Durbin, Frank Kuehn, Donald Verfaille, Claudia Shaver, Gertrude Moore, Richard LeGrand, Henry Urban, Paul Kocher, Clin ton Brobst The Dallas Borough High School Band suffered a great loss at the beginning of the 1943 school term Mr Robert Henderson was called to serve his country, leaving the Band without a leader Substitute teachers took over until a leader could be selected Mr Howard Hallock, a former leader of the Band, consented to take over the Band for the remainder of the school term Throughout the school year, the Band participated in many activities First the annual Halloween Parade in Dallas The Band also took part in the Armistice Day Parade in bands of the valley were present The Band made a very spectacular appearance in their gold and blue outfits The Band also played at the ded1cat1c1 of the Dallas Borough Honor Roll The following officers were elected President Paul Kocher Vice President Helen Kocher Secretary Betty Welsh Treasurer Graydon Mayer Librarians Jane Von Arx Virginia Ferry The Band's Spring Concert was given May 28, 1943, under the very capable leadership the Kingston High School During the program pins were given to the Senior members of the Band, as a reward for having attained their goal in High School Music Wilkes BBPT0, in Which almost all school of Howard J.
