THE 0R1 OLE 5 THE FACULTY Professor W. I. Ford graduated from Dallas College in 1905, and has been employed in the Dallas Schools most of the time since, beginning his professional career in the North Dallas Public School and gradually ascending to his present position, Superintendent of City Schools. It is sutiicient to say that under his able direc- tion, our schools have increased in size and eiiiciency, and have attained higher standards than have ever been known before in the history of Dallas. His work in the promotion and development of all branches of the Public School and the High School is com- mended by all; K.?.QH h.'lh Miss Maud A. McDonald, for- merly of Seattle, graduated from a course of Liberal Arts, majoring in science, at the University of Oregon in 1912. She came to Dallas in the Autumn of the same year to take charge of our science courses, such as Botany, Physi- ography and Physics. The Juniors had their first choice gratified When they obtained her for roll teacher at the beginning of this year.
