The theme we chose, WDHS: Our pride is showing” covers the television world. The call letters, WDHS”, portrays the Talon as a television station, the students as actors, the school as the stage, and the faculty and administration as directors and producers. Almost everyone’s life has been touched by the television medium. Sport, movies, news, pay-T.V., and the ever present commercials are in this book to bring you the very best camera-eye” of Daleville High. Getting everyone on film was the hardest part. Although we did try to get all the students please accept our apologies if we happened to miss you. The main ingredient to any annual, book, maga- zine, show, etc., is an interesting subject. We of the Annual Staff would like to thank the student body of Daleville High for making our task easier by provid- ing us with a most interesting subject. So without any further adieu ............................... Heeeeeeeeeeeeee’s Daleville! AL EDITORS LAST WORDS In an attempt to catch all the glimmering highlights of this year’s activities, we the annual staff are gratified that this Talon you are now reading has finally reached your hands. The student body kept us running all year long in a vain effort to catch them on film in school and in extracurricular activi- ties. Our first staff meeting found us wanting something new and unusual for a theme, so we came up with the Television Station theme. We thank all of our faculty, administration, and classmates for the extra help. Special thanks goes to Mr. Carlile. for without his help and motivation, this annual would not have been possible. We wish you luck in all your future dreams.
