LONELINESS: When the world is full of solitude And you feel so all alone, You wander where your friends are — And why they all have grown. The days go by like darkened years The nights, they seem so cold. You wonder where your friends are — And why you feel so old. You take a walk all by yourself And no one seems to care. You wonder where your friends are — And why they aren’t with you there. Loneliness and solitude There’s not a friend in sight. You wonder where they all have gone — Nothing seems quite right.
