1 TREASURE CHEST 1967 Dale School Dale, Oklahoma Foreword An annual recalls many things. As we progress through four years of high school we gain countless memories—of classes, games, activities, and impromptu get-togethers. At the close of each year we remember again these experiences that are, for us, high school. We look back and see the images of our years as The Pirates”. We review with mixed feelings the happenings which help form our character. Through academics, our knowl- edge is increased; through athletics, our mental outlook is widened; through association with our classmates, our understanding and ap- preciation of others and their talents is extended. Our high school years have proven themselves to be outstand- ing facton in realizing our place in society. Co-operation among mankind will prove to be the greatest instrument of peace and undentanding. Let us take the knowledge we have acquired and use it to the fullest extent that we may pave the way to greater undentanding in future generations. 2 A d m in ist ra t ion 6 Faculty......................9 Seniors.....................13 Juniors.....................20 Sophomores..................24 Junior High.................26 Contents Elementary...................30 Activities...................37 Organizations................45 Athletics....................55 Favorites....................67 Valedictorian................76 Graduation...................30 Advertising..................84 3 Yearbook Staff MR. ROBERT POWELL Advisor Every play must have a script. The leading lady must have long lines, the leading man must have plenty of feminine followers. We have set ourselves to the task of writing the script for your 1966-67 year at Dale. We worked when youplayed, we had nightmares when you had pleasant dreams, we had nervous breakdowns when you had only spring fever. If we cut your lines, forgive us. No doubt it was done when blood-red eyes blocked our visions and tomorrow’s deadline fogged our brain.
