The Machinist Mates and Enginemen which comprise A Division have maintenance responsi- bilities on a great deal of DALE'S equipment, some of which includes air conditioning gear, small boats, and the like. With all this equipment, it is obvious that A Gang is a vital part of the ship's company. Over the course of the deployment, they performed their job with unending professionalism, providing the crew of the DALE both comfort and pro- tection.
