MELVIN JONES—One of the best high school pass receivers in these parts. Also a great defensive cud. GERALD EASTERWOOD- One of the most dependable and capable guards the Tigers have ever had. JOHNNY BAKER—TEe two position man. He can play cen- ter or blocking back and do a very good job of cither. HERMAN PITTS—An excellent tackle in all respects, always play- ing heads-up football with the idea of winning. JAMES ARTHUR SMITH— Big, rough rugged and an excel- lent tackle with one more year to go- JUNIOR NEWMAN-A great end on both offense and defense. He’ll really “snag those passes in the next two years. BILL JINKS—One of the best and most promising guards we have seen in a long time. JIMMY SANFORD-A hard hit- ting back with a long time to go. Watch him, folks.

JUNIOR BROWN—The Tiger center, lie could always be de pended on to put the ball in the right place at the right time. CHARLES SMITH—Fleet - foot ed! What Charles lacked in size, he made up for in speed and ag- gressiveness. JAKE KILPATRICK—Does he hit hard? Just ask his opponents. RALPH PATTERSON Ralph is both good and promising.
