Homecoming 1970 To the students, faculty and boosters of Dade County High School, Homecoming is a week of bustle, anticipa- tion, and speculation. This is one of the special weeks that EVERYBODY notices or takes interest in. While the cheerleaders, band, and majorettes work on these special Homecoming routines, the Wildcats practice on. Though it seemed that the week was only beginning, the practice and preparation came to an end. In the cold- ness of the October night, the Wildcats chalked up another victory and Miss Jackie Mason was crowned 1970 Home- coming Queen. ABOVE - Anticipation before half-time is great. ABOVE RIGHT - Jackie's mother shares the excitement of the evening. RIGHT - Mary West, 1969 Homecoming Queen, secures the crown on Queen Jackie’s head as the tears of joy be- gin to flow. 30
