What It Means To Be A Wildcat Being a WILDCAT is being able to hold my head up high, knowing that there are no others like the WILDCATS. Being a WILDCAT is cheering the team onward whether we win or lose, in any sport. Being a WILDCAT is knowing that in whatever sport a WILDCAT is playing, he is playing with all his heart and trying hard to win. Being a WILDCAT is being united under one name, being proud of that name, and all that it stands for. Being a WILDCAT is knowing that whatever troubles or hardships occur, affecting one person or everyone, it will always work out right because we are WILDCATS. Everyone of us works together to make the name of WILDCAT a name to be proud of. Being a WILDCAT is knowing what truth and honor really mean and the ideals they stand for. No true WILDCAT will tarnish our cherished name by being untruthful or disrespectful. We are a very fun-loving group who enjoy ever) moment of this life. At the same time, we are the first to take our responsibilities seriously and to show others what a WILDCAT is by our examples Other people may boast of their superior qualities and good sportsmanship, but a WILDCAT knows that action speaks louder than words. Once a person becomes a WILDCAT, no matter what else he may be, he is always a WILDCAT. Time can never change the fact that the WILDCATS are, and always will be, the greatest in the world. Gene Davis
