ROW 2.' jim Schulta, Tom Klemp, Schulta, Mike Schulta. Rifle Club's purpose is to improve its members' skill in the care and handling of firearms. Target-shooting competition is an important part of the activities. This competition, as well as the other activities, helps to develop qualities of leadership, loyalty, and cooperation. Membership is open to anyone 18 or younger whose appli- cation fapproved by a parent orguardianj is accepted by the club's executive committee. Art Club, new to Everest, was organized to stimulate art appreciation and sharpen working skills with a variety of mediums. Work nights allowed members to dabble with individual projects. Edward Schoen- berger, a local artist, presented a lecture on sculpturingg members also toured the studio of another local artist, Pat Bowers. The club sponsored an Art Fair in the gym where original art projects were displayed and sold. Officers were: jean Knutson, Presidentg Pat Kitowski, Secretary, julie Topper, Treas- urer.
