The Young Democrats Club is an organization de- signed to promote student interest in the functions of government. The club supports the party candi- dates by actively campaigning for familiar candidates during elections. This campaigning includes such activities as distributing bumper stickers and other literature. . . Science Club includes those students who wish to extend their knowledge in the fieldg they have the opportunity to use the equip- ment and supplies in the Science Depart- ment. The only requirement for membership is that the students be willing to work and attend regular meetings. Each of the mem- bers works on a project in which he is in- terested, periodic progress reports and demonstrations must be given. These projects may be submitted to the Science Fair at Stevens Point which is sponsored by the Wisconsin junior Academy of Science. Science Club member works on project. Fofv Vctofuj The Young Republicans widen the political atmosphere of Everest by providing a better understanding of American government and the processes that make it succeed. Young Republicans support local, county, state, and national candidates by promoting the policies of their Party. Members do much of the necessary campaign footwork. Any student who wants a better understanding of his government and of political affairs is eligible to become a member of Young Republicans.
