Everest Science Club consists of about 20 members who gather twice monthly to study science and work on science projects. Although the club has existed for some time, this was the first year it has been formally organized. The purpose of the club is to promote an interest in science, and to allow members to use equipment and supplies not ordinarily available. GAA The aim of the G.A.A. is to promote interest in athletic activities and sports- manship. Some of the activities include team sports, halftime entertainment at basketball games, and 'selling conces- sions at games. Membership is open to all girls who are passing in academic subjects and who maintain requirements of the organiza- tion. Dues are used for organizational activities and a scholarship fund. The G.A.A. scholarship of S75 is awarded each year to a qualifying senior girl who has shown both interest and intentions to further her education in the area of physical education.
