OR OCIETY The National Honor Society gives rec- ognition to those students who have shown high scholastic ability and also possess the qualities of character, leadership, and service. The society purchased a Wisconsin State Flag which it donated to the school. Members served the school throughout the year by ushering for various school functions. The book fair was held again this year, the funds to go to some worthwhile project. The officers for the year were: Tom Alt- man, Presidentg David Giesler, Vice-President, Betty Tabaka, Secretary, Mary Abel, Trea- surer.

The main goal of all members of the Library Club is to give better service to those who make use of the library fa- cilities in school. To be a member, one must have a C or better average and be interested in books and people. The active members work in the library three or more periods a week. Once every month the Library Club holds a meeting and discusses ways in which to improve service and book han- dling. Their activities include a Christmas party and a Spring picnic. 79

ROW TWO: Becky Horner, Shirley Gajewski, Cheryl Howe, Jim Werba, Ted Davidoski, Jack Helding, Norma Wcndorf, Jim The purpose of this organization is to improve the knowledge and skill of its members in matters relating to the proper care and handling of firearms, and the management of target shooting ranges and competitions, and to develop among its members those qualities of leadership, loyalty, cooperation and good citizenship. The club sponsors concessions at basket- ball and football games. Membership is open Club members practicing different positions for awards. Schulta, Roberta Gitchel. ROW THREE: John Jagcrson, Bruce Werba, Richard Krueger, Mike Schulta, Kathy Toth, Gordy Kosobucki, Russ Prievc, Bill Overbcck, Mike Gaska, Jack Roberts. to any boy or girl eighteen years of age or younger whose application for membership, approved by a parent or guardian, is approved by the Executive Committee. These are the N.R.A Junior Rifleman Awards: Pro-Marksman, Marksman, Marks- man lst.
