TUDE TCOU CIL The Student Council this year worked at revising the constitution to enable it to work more efficiently. A dress code in the form of suggestions was also set up. In addition to this the council was in charge of Homecoming as well as basketball hops. Part of the Student Council funds will be used for scholarships to worthy senior graduates. N -7' X I '- ! Everest High School is a club whose purpose is to promote a friendly interest and appreciation of Spanish -the language and the civilization. The person desiring membership in the Spanish Club must be a current student of Spanish and a BH average must be main- tained in Spanish by the student. Also, any student who has completed a study of Spanish and has been an active member of Spanish Club may remain in the club as an Honorary member. Exotic Spanish food was on the menu for the banquet. Reynolds, Colleen Sonntag, Carlo Litzer, Roberta Gitchel, Kris Olson, Linda Siferd, Kathy Wojicechowski, Cindy Roeske, Susan Fritz, Linda Setula. The Spanish Club annually sponsors the Twirp Dance-a girl-ask-boy danc e-the theme is centered on something Hispanic. Also a Christmas party, initiation and Banquet are held every year. The members in Spanish Club have fun and learn such things as Spanish songs, dances, customs, etc. This year the club officers were: President, Nancy Baranowskig Vice-President, Lou Ann Duranceaug Secretary, Harvey Kurtz.
