ASSEMBLY PROGRAMS At various times throughout the school year, assembly programs are presented to the entire student body. On this page are shown two representative assembly programs. Our first example is that of Mr. Kenneth Goodman who presented a program of classical, semi- classical, and popular music on the organ. Next is David Liner who used a plastic ball to demonstrate how radioactive materials are found. This program was under the guidance of the Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies. The topics of the assembly programs varied from an Evangelist to musical produc- tions of varied kinds to scientiiicly based pro- grams. 103

Song Spinners A Capella Chorus CHRISTMAS CONCERT The traditional religious meaning of Christ- mas was the theme of the music presented by the Choral departments for the annual Christmas Concert. The concert was given on December 17. The A Capella Chorus, the Song Spinners, the Girls Glee Club, the Fresh- man Chorus, and the Boys Chorus provided the sweet Christmas melodies.
