BUSI EDUC T10 CLUB Under the expert and lively supervision of Miss Murray, the Business Education Club has made several field trips with the avowed purpose of acquainting its members with the business world. This year, the Junior Red Cross of Curtis High School performed many services for those less fortunate than we. Volunteer work was done in hospitals and institutions. FUTURE URSES CLUR The Future Nurses Club, now in its second year, has been very valuable to many Curtis students who are considering nursing or medicine as a career by helping them to obtain a glimpse of what lies ahead. Under the supervision of Mrs. Landes, their faculty adviser, and Mrs. Talbot, the representative of the Women's Medical Auxiliary, the members have visited hospitals, schools of nursing, and museums. SEATED: Vincent Greco, Mr. Presto, Norman Johnson. STANDING: Bill Seabrooke, Leslie Hall, Chester Berman, Arthur Dodds. The Curtis ham Radio Club is operating under a dilterent format this year. The members are studying a course given by the R.C.A. Radio Institute. Next year Mr. Presto hopes to have electronic equipment donated by one or two large companies. The equipment will be used to serve as Curtis's own radio tower, operated by club members who have received their F.C.C. license. AMATEUR RADIO CLUB
