SECOND ROW: Suzanne Davis, Arthur Berger, Jesse Lipcon, Richard Pierce, Phyllis Schiano, Sonia Kosow, Every day during the eighth period the Curtis orchestra can be heard diligently rehearsing under the able direction of Mr. George Wilhelm. Any pupil will agree that the orchestra has made every assembly more enjoyable. During the Christmas season, the orchestra plays a vital part in the Christmas show. But that is only the beginning because with the co-operation of the chorus the members bring cheer to all by playing Christmas music through the halls. Under the direction of Mr. Wilhelm, the members of the band demonstrate their musical talents at all of our football games. These skilled musicians arouse the school spirit of every Curtisite and help lead our team to victory with their inspiring melodies.
