THIRD ROW: The two biggest items on the Dramatics So- ciety's agenda this year were Clarence, a four act comedy by Booth Tarkington, and The Nine-Thirty Revue, a program consisting of ex- cerpts trom great plays and musicals, present and past. Clarence was cast last November and was presented at the end of the spring term. The Nine-Thirty Revue was presented last April. Besides the plays, the society had planned entertainment at each meeting consisting of readings from some of the world's greatest literary works. The annual trek to Broadway was enjoyed by Rhoda Rohn, Lucy Sander, Roberta Parry, Pat Innes, Patti Lynn Lambert, Lucille Corrier, Carol Hennessy, Carol Fromm, Renate Behrens, Barbara Vogel, Betsy Wolle, Margaret Woelfle, FOURTH ROW: Ronald Shiffrnan, Stanley Wetschler, Norman Frornm, Bob Rivkin, Ed Schmidt, Frank Veccia, Karl Alff, Richard Wilson, Mike Baker, Don Jensen, Alfred lngrarn, Carl Raichle, John Kruszewski, Stephen Freman. theater lovers and sports lovers both. The play which was seen by the society was Damn Yankees, which is a combination of Faust and baseball. To become a member ofthe Dramatics Society you must audition and you are iudged by the quality of your performance. The Dramatics Society tries to teach its members not only acting, but all the other aspects of drama, such as: staging, directing, casting and lighting. The officers this term were: Jacqueline Kipp, President, Martin Rosen, Vice President, Joan Yannon, Secretary, and Jerome De Masi, Treas- urer.
