The purpose of the Biology Honor Society is to encourage students to continue their interest in biology and to develop their knowledge of it even after they have completed the course. In order to be eligible for the Biology Honor Society a student must attain a final mark of 90 per cent or better in either Biology l or Biology 2. This year a proposal was made to amend the Constitution of the society making it compulsory for each member to engage in some specific proiect during the term to continue his membership, such as taking part in a school assembly program or undertaking a private proiect of his own.
