The Curtis Log, our school newspaper, has two simple aims: to record the hap- penings of the daily life of the school and its human inhabitants, and to serve as an organ for the expression of school attitudes, opinions and interests. As a record, the Log is valuable to those who wish to examine the past life of our school. Our class of 1956 has read through volumes 51-58 eagerly, for they are our history. Every newspaper needs editors, and Rachel Ginnis, Betsy Heine, Sharon King- don, John Lange, Barbara Scroggie, Bob Sholkoff, and Rick Sutter have filled these positions during the past school year. Working with them has been a staff of over seventy reporters, typists, photographers, Cartoonists, and circulation personnel. After a late start, the chorus worked very diligently every day to prepare an excellent Christmas program. The entire school had the pleasure of hearing a special arrangement of We, Three Kings, Silver Bells and many of the beloved Christmas carols. During the day the halls resounded with many of the traditional carols sung by the Christmas choir costumed as angels, Under the able and efficient leadership of Mr. Wilhelm we are sure that our Curtis High School Chorus will have a future as successful as its illustrious past.
