PROLOGUE The world's a theatre, the earth's a stage, Which God and Nature do with actors fill. Shakespeare For four long years we have been preparing for the parts we are destined to play when we leave Curtis and go out on our own. Through the unfailing and devoted efforts of all those around us, we are now ready to take our places in the world-a world which Shakespeare so appropriately pictured as a huge stage filled with actors playing their various roles. But we shall never forget those four years we spent in rehearsal here at Curtis and so, in memory of the past and in anticipation of the future, we offer our 1956 Yearbook- Opening Night.
