Our Explorers Tfzere's cz Paper Shortage, Now! PHYSIUEHAPHY HUNUB SUEIETY uThe Good Earthi' is usually credited to the penmanship of Pearl Buck, but, at Curtis, we think of it in a different manner. Our Physiography Society, composed of students who have excelled in earth science, are, to us, the only people who can authentically talk about lathe good earth . These young scientists delight in going on field trips, studying maps, and observing rock specimens. They may leave their hunting grounds bare in materials, but Curtis is made the recipient of these specimens. Donlt think our explorer friends confine their scope to the earth alone, because it's HAH This and Heaven Toofa SCHIBBLEHS' CLUB America has its Louisa May Alcott, and Edna St Vincent Millay Curtis also has its Scribblers' Club. This group, advised by Miss Urion can be seen each week deeply absorbed over sheets of paper on which they attempt to place their elusive thoughts, in poetry or prose Perhaps some day we shall read of a famous poet or author who began his career in the Scribblers Club of Curtis.
