Hll7lmt about inflation? PHUDUCTIUN ! PRUUUUTIUN! PRUUUETIUN! ECONOMICS DEPARTMENT Mildred K. Kamrnerer-Chairman, Emanuel Donow, Florence K. Coldwasser, Marion M. Robinson, Mildred Winer. A provision for an Economics honor class last term resulted in the group shown here. Chosen from among those who had proved themselves proficient in history in former terms, these students, both seventh and eighth termers, were given the privilege of enter- ing a class where they could discuss, at length, topics for which there would have been little time in the regular course. Unfor- tunately, program complications barred from the class several pupils worthy of admission. Subjects of current interest such as the possibility of inflation and its control, price ceilings, new taxes, et cetera, were feverishly debated on several occasions. Also, various books were read and reported upon by some of the especially in- :erested students, llhe guiding mentor of the group was Miss Kammerer, Chairman of Qhe Economics Department. Have you signezl up for the achievement tests? The morning after the night before. Mr. Avent makes the rounds.
