KT ARS EHATIA AHTIS The Art Department, consisting of Miss Lisa Kraitz, Miss Anna M. Conn, its chairman. and Miss Theresa Beinert, helps to teach Curtis students in their first high school years, the general principles and benefits of art appreciation. If the students are interested in any particular field in art such as poster Work, fashion drawing, ink or pencil drawings or designing, and if they show a sufficient amount of talent, they may continue their work in advanced classes. The Curtis publications generally attribute their artistic covers and designs to students of the Art Department. who volunteer their services. The posters and notices seen around the school are arranged and designed by art teachers and students.
