Active Spirit eaders Pep plus spirit eguals our five yivacious Varsity Cheer- leaders. Our outstanding squad, headed by Karen Rowell, took first place out of 70 schools in the SCVAL tourna- ments. The enthusiasm of our Varsity and Blazers Cheer- leaders did much to make successful football and basket- ball seasons this year. Cupertinos Song Girls proved that they were among the best in the state when they took first place in competition with 98 other schools ata 119'ers football garne, Their fine performances at Cupertinos football and basketball games won them recognition as six of the best-looking and most talented Senior girls around.
