Along vvith the additional feature of color in the introduce tion, the staff has tried to provide both interesting photos and lay-outs, Under the patient and exacting eyes of advisor Mr. Pence and coreditors Sue Tanaka and Marilyn Moss, the staff has vvorked sixth period, after school, and on Saturday to produce a yearbook vve hope to be proud of. The first ingredient of a yearbook is pictures. Out of the dozens taken, the ones that are the most visually interesting tespecially in such areas as the introduce tory section and candidsl are hopefully chosen, Then comes the problem, in group shots, of identification loften harrovving and perhaps unsuccessfuli. Not only must thepictures themselves be interesting, but the vvay they are arranged on the page must also be inventive. This problem of lay-out is what probably takes more time than any other, Finally such details as headlines and copy tvvhich shouldnt be foo insipidl are taken care of. After all is ready, the page is put into an envelope and shipped to the publisher, Then, hope for the best. John Watson hard at vvork on the yearbook.
