Pep Girls Because it is the responsibility of the Pep Girls to encourage and develop school spirit, their tasks encompass a wide variety of activities. At least a weeks work is behind the preparation of run- throughs, which are carefully made only to be destroyed in an instant. Then there are innumerable posters to be paint- ed-check outside Mr. Cates' room al- most any seventh period. The football field and the basketball court must be decorated for all home games. Finally, its the work of the Pep Girls to supervise the Pep Club and to keep accounts ot Club points. This year's 'lgirls in red are Jan Finn, Liz Hawes, Maureen Manley, Jan Shanahan, and Claudia Ward.
