WD QT While reaching for this goal we find the students' expres- sions of disappointment, de- termination, question, and comprehension all part of the picture of our eternal struggle to better ourselves. 0' MEMCRIAL Sometimes a rude shock wakens us from our sleep- like existences. Such was the untimely death of Mick J ones, a student here at Bandera High School. Some people have the enduring qiality of becoming so much a part of their surroundings they are not fully realized until their absence. This was Mick's case. He was a part of B.H.S. - football player, band member, FFA member, and an otherwise active Junior. Unfortunate- ly, we can only try to fill the vacuum left by such people with poor slips of paper such as this which cannot last half so long as the memories they leave. It is the best we humans can do. We, therefore, leave this in memory of Mick Jones. DEDICATION Often within a school there are unsung heroes - those who are always there, ready and helping, and therefore seldom recognized. This is the case of these two people. They both have committed years of constant help and service to the students of Bandera High School. For their kind encourage- ment and support we gratefully dedicate the 1970 Bulldog to Mr. and Mrs. John Wilton. No annual is complete without pictures. W e are particularly gratefulto Mr. Gene Nelson for all the work he did in this line.
