With a wish in their hearts that this year's yearbook might be even better than last year's, the Argus Staff began their work of gathering all the year's activities into the yearbook. Through meeting deadlines, copy writing, proofreading, feature writing, interviewing, and many more hectic iobs, the Argus staff pushed nobly forward. The yearbook this year contains all that was accomplished by you and your classmates throughout the year. The Argus sincerely wishes it has collected all these memories and will help retain them throughout the years to come. Charlotte Heiges Business Manager Q T f 5 4

An able and enthusiastic staff, headed by Pat Castle and Mayrene Blissell, has done much to increase the size of the paper as well as the frequency of issue. Under the budget system the circu- lation has increased to over six hundred copies, including complimentaries. A determined eFlort to improve the quality of the paper was also undertaken. The Ce-Ve-Eye sponsored two dances, a skating party, and served as host to the East- West Shore Scholastic Press Associations in successfully completing yet another phase of their expanding journalistic program. Advisors to the staff were Vance C. Enck, Jr., Business, Muyrene Bhsseu and William W. Britton, Ill, Editorial. Pmcosne Co-Editor Co-Editor l 5 5
