ROOM LOOKING around the spacious Mess Hall, Vi remarks, It must be a terrible responsibility, feeding all you grow- ing boys. 'AI suppose it is, Tom answers, Ubut we have the man who can do it, or just about anything else. He goes on to tell her about Colonel Rossow, whose career would make an exciting book in itself. As dietitian he has introduced many new and delicious meals, among them ravioli, shrimp, and country fried steak. There are other wonderful personalities associated with the Mess Hall, too, says Tom. as the couple walk down the steps.
