The Science Department FOR ALL his somewhat bantering manner. however. Tom shares with the Corps a true re- spect for science. As he tells Vi, there prob- ably is no more popular course on the campus than chemistry and physics. Nor is this solely attributable to the fact that the science courses obviously are practical, offering a foundation for material success. That many students be- come interested in science for its own sake is amply demonstrated by the voluntary and cn- thusiastic activities of Mr. Seehausen's Science Club, which meets on Friday evening and at any other time that individuals are free to pur- sue their hobby.
